I find it interesting that a number of the comments that have been posted revolve around the idea of\u00a0652 being one of the few\u00a0hands-on classes.\u00a0 I think that’s an issue that needs to be brought up for discussion.\u00a0 I think I mentioned last week that department is having feedback sessions over the next couple of weeks.\u00a0 I think it would be a good idea for as many of us as possible to participate in one of the sessions.\u00a0 I know one of my issues is offering more on-ground classes which lends itself to more of a hands-on experience.\u00a0 I also tend to think there are opportunities through Buley (possibly other libraries?)\u00a0to arrange\u00a0for opportunities for MLS students to put in some time in a library that isn’t as much as the practicum but does provide for some practical experience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
