Description

Empty Sky is the official 9/11 memorial for the state of New Jersey and is located in Liberty State Park in Jersey City. The memorial's 30-foot twin walls face the New York skyline along with a granite path directed to where the World Trade Towers once stood. On the western side of the walls, steel remnants from the World Trade Center are displayed. The name of the memorial is borrowed from a Bruce Springsteen song about the the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
